Six-party talks - Six-party talks is the name given to meetings of the People's Republic of China, North Korea, South Korea, Russia, Japan and the United States, held in order to find a resolution of the crisis over the North Korean nuclear weapons program. The first round was held in August 2003, the second round in February 2004, the third round in June 2004, the fourth round in July 2005, and the fifth round in September 2005.
